How it all started…
Today was an interesting day, I was really in my feelings quite a bit about life. I felt like I was focusing way too much on the topic of money and how to make more of it every second of the day, rather than just enjoying my day overall. With all the influences online such as stock market advise, options trading courses and handbooks, constant posts about how it’s a great time to become rich, it can get a bit overwhelming.
So after pondering that for a while, doing some venting to my girlfriend and my friends, I think its important to just be in the moment sometimes. Constant research and focus on money seem to become very counter intuitive. We all have goals that we want to reach but, I believe that without reflection on life and a bit of mental rest, days similar to the one im having will occur much more.
So Lets Begin Here…
Maybe we should define what money means to us first and why we need it to accomplish our particular goals and life purposes. That should help you avoid venting all day to your girlfriend or driving around in a car for an hour talking to your friends contemplating time, happiness and money….. like I just did. I blame it on corona.
I would like to ask you a question, how does money make you feel? Some people need just enough to get by and they are fine with that. Others want as much as possible and it eats them up every day because they don’t have the money they want. Then there’s people like me who want enough to be comfortable… yes, I know that being comfortable is very subjective and means a lot of different things to different people. For me, it means not having to be stressed out about going on a trip with my family and friends or, contemplating Christmas gifts for people because this one particular item is $10 cheaper. I just want to be able to live in the house I choose, take care of my family and buy what I want without being fearful of my wealth and overall well being.
In conclusion, have you had any days like mine? If so, let us know why and how you got through it. Is money what you need most to be happy and satisfied in life?
